The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the most iconic structures in the world and I was lucky enough to be able to spend a couple hours on an empty bridge in the wee hours of the morning when the FIFA Women’s World Cup came to town in 2023 and shut down the bridge one Sunday morning for a big PR stunt.
The immensity and significance of the structure was more overwhelming than I expected. I tried to capture it in all kinds of different ways. But this was the only shot that really did it any justice.
